Event to be held in Mumbai under the direction of filmmaker Dushyant Pratap Singh, with participation from national and international dignitaries
Lucknow : A total of 50 exceptional Indian talents from diverse fields will be honoured at the fifth edition of the “Celebrity Awards – Top 50 Indian Icon Awards 2025”, to be held on September 16, 2025, at the ISKCON Auditorium, Juhu, Mumbai. The award ceremony, known for recognising excellence across sectors such as art, literature, social service, business, medicine, sports, fashion, media, education, and startups, promises to be a grand celebration of Indian brilliance.
The event is being organized under the creative leadership of noted film director Dushyant Pratap Singh, who addressed a press conference held at Hotel Arif Castle, Lucknow. Singh stated that the initiative is aimed at recognising unsung heroes from both India and the Indian diaspora abroad, including countries like Dubai, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Singapore. “Many Indians do extraordinary work in their fields but lack a platform for recognition. The ‘Top 50 Indian Icon Awards’ bridges this gap by celebrating their contributions,” he said.
Gracing the press meet as chief guests were Om Prakash Singh, MLA and former minister in the Uttar Pradesh Government, and Mukesh Merchant, State President of the All India Freedom Fighter Family Welfare Council. Gaurav Prakash, CEO of Universal Booksellers, was also present.
Speaking at the event, Om Prakash Singh praised the initiative, saying, “Honouring emerging Indian talent on an international platform is commendable.
