Through e-office, U.P. RERA turns entire work model in to Digital Mode

* The e-office system will increase the efficiency of the Authority and speed up the disposal of matters.

* Now all the remaining work of U.P. RERA will also be done online through the e-office system.
* After the e-court system, now U.P. RERA will work completely on the e-office system.

Lucknow / Gautambudh Nagar: U.P. RERA is already using the e-court model in the process of filing complaints, hearing in benches, issuing orders and registering requests for order execution. In the e-court model, the parties do not need to come to the RERA office. They can join the hearing proceedings from their home or office or any other convenient place and present their case before the bench. After this, the process of issuing orders is also completely digital where the complainant receives a copy of the order passed from the portal.

After the success of the e-court model, now U.P. RERA has adopted the ‘e-office system’. The ‘e-office system’ has been adopted for the remaining daily work after the issuance of the order by the Authority so that efficiency can be increased and pending work can be completed with transparency and responsibility in the shortest possible time. This will benefit all the stakeholders of the real estate sector because digital copies of all the files will remain as records and it will be easy to get the approval of the competent officer on the files. There will be no need for files for coordination between the headquarters and the regional office and action required at advance level can be ensured quickly as per the order. This will save valuable time of the Authority and all the stakeholders and it will make possible to resolve the cases coming before the Authority faster than before.

In the process of ‘e-office’, the received file can be converted into digital form and ported to e-office. The file can be run through e-office for approval on the file, so that there will be no need to bring the file physically. On submission of the file, as soon as approval is received, the file can be sent for further level and the facility of follow up will also be available on it. The file of Regional Office Noida will be received in Lucknow office for approval at the competent level without any delay and after approval, it will be returned to the Regional Office on the same day. This will enable important files to be disposed of on time and signals of reminder will be received from the system. In this way, there will be no possibility of delay due to human error and cases can be disposed of quickly.

Allottees awaiting refund will be the biggest beneficiaries of this. Due to e-office, notices and reminders can be sent on time in refund cases. The process of issuing recovery certificate will be done quickly. As soon as the amount recovered by the district administration is cleared in the bank, an update will be received on the RERA portal. Immediately the allottee will receive information with the prescribed format of the affidavit. After receiving the affidavit, the amount can be transferred to the bank account of the allottee by processing the file through e-office in the shortest possible time.

Sanjay Bhoosreddy, Chairman, U.P. RERA inaugurated this work in office by disposing of some files through e-office from Lucknow office today on 30.09.2024. He informed that the Authority has selected the secure e-office services of NIC for the security of the data of the allottees as well as for quick disposal of the work. He reiterated UP RERA’s commitment to dispose of the cases of all the interested parties of RERA on time. Honorable members, officers and employees of the Authority were present in the program.
