Lucknow: Thakurganj Police have once again achieved a major breakthrough in their crackdown against illegal activities. A large number of Indian gas cylinders were seized from behind Shubham Market in the Bhuhar outpost area of Thakurganj police station limits.
According to police sources, a group of miscreants was engaged in illegally cutting gas cylinders and refilling them, causing a significant financial loss to customers. The accused used to carry out these illegal activities secretly, putting the lives of many at risk by handling highly inflammable substances in an unsafe manner.
Upon receiving a tip-off, Thakurganj Police conducted a raid and successfully apprehended the culprits involved in this illegal gas-cutting and refilling operation. Several gas cylinders were recovered from the location, and authorities are currently investigating the supply chain linked to this illicit activity.
