It is about 500 years old, there was a Yadav farmer named Achhru and some of his buffaloes were lost, so it took almost a month to search for them, the farmer got tired and sat at one place and was dying of thirst, then the Goddess appeared before him from a pond and said that drink water from this pond and told him that all your buffaloes are grazing in Bisagar but the farmer named Achhru drank water from the pond and to find out the depth of the pond, he put his stick in the pond, it went completely and the farmer was surprised, then he went to the place told by the mother, he found all the buffaloes and his stick was also found in the same pond, seeing this the farmer named Achhru Yadav was surprised.
He told all this to everyone and gradually people started coming to this place and people’s wishes were fulfilled She left. The devotees built a grand temple at that place and devotees keep on thronging the court of the mother. People’s problems get solved by seeing the power of the nine goddesses.
