Lucknow: A teenage girl residing in Bihar Nagar, Alambagh, ended her life, triggering a wave of unrest among her family members and locals. The grieving family immediately informed the Alambagh police about the incident.
Upon receiving the information, the police arrived at the scene and sent the girl’s body for post-mortem examination.
The victim’s family has raised serious suspicions against the staff of Bala Nursing Home, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Bazar Khala police station. Alleging foul play, they have demanded a thorough investigation into the matter.
In protest, the girl’s family placed her body on the road, leading to a demonstration that saw the presence of the area’s municipal councilor.
To control the situation, Mawaiya Outpost In-charge Israr Ahmed and Constable Saurabh reached the location. After calming the agitated crowd, they assured them of a fair and thorough investigation into the case.
Authorities have assured that appropriate legal action will be taken based on the findings of the ongoing investigation.
