Teaching Aids Exhibition Successfully Organised at Rohilkhand University

Bareilly: The Department of Education at Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University organised a Teaching Aids Exhibition presented by B.Ed. second-year students under the chairmanship of Vice-Chancellor Prof. K. P. Singh. The exhibition aimed to encourage creativity, innovation and the development of effective teaching tools among future educators.

Students showcased a variety of charts, models and working teaching aids across multiple subjects. In physics, models demonstrating concepts such as energy transformation, states of matter, change in matter and magnetic fields were displayed to simplify scientific principles through practical demonstrations.

Under mathematics, students presented teaching materials related to cubes and surface area, number systems, quadrilaterals and mathematical quizzes, aiming to make complex mathematical concepts easier and more engaging for learners.

Biology exhibits included models and charts explaining the digestive system, parts of a flower and the structure of plant and animal cells, helping illustrate biological concepts clearly. Social studies presentations featured models on historical monuments, the Constitution of India, fundamental rights, volcanoes, the internal structure of the Earth and the solar system.

Language-based teaching aids creatively explained grammatical topics such as nouns, pronouns, composition writing, conjunctions, prepositions and punctuation marks. In economics and commerce, students displayed models related to drip irrigation systems, currency, and demand and supply to explain economic concepts in a practical manner.

Department Head Prof. Santosh Arora highlighted the importance of teaching aids in enhancing students’ understanding and making the teaching-learning process more effective.

The exhibition was coordinated by Dr. Pratibha Sagar and Dr. Ram Babu Singh. Faculty members including Dr. Meenakshi, Dr. Suresh and Dr. Vimal were also present and appreciated the innovative work of the students.

The exhibition proved to be both inspiring and educational, helping students strengthen their creativity and teaching skills.
