Mumbai – Popular Punjabi singer Jasmine Sandlas, known for lending her powerhouse voice to chartbusters like Yaar Na Mile from Kick and Tarrs Nayi Aaya from Munjya, has released her latest independent single Pols, which went live today and is already receiving immense love from fans and music enthusiasts.
Talking about her new track, Jasmine described Pols as a fresh beginning:
“For me, Pols feels like a rebirth as an artist. It carries the same energy and freshness of a debut song, even though I released my first track ‘Muskan’ back in 2008. The past years have been my practice ground, and now with Pols, the real game begins.”
The track brings together an infectious Baile Funk sound with Punjabi vibes, marking Jasmine’s first experiment with this genre. “The beats had me hooked instantly,” she shared, adding that for the collaboration, Nepal’s top producer Fozal was brought on board, while the songwriting team of Shlok Lal, Mandy Gill, and Harjot Kaur crafted the lyrics.
The music video, directed by Preet Singh, is set inside a prison, with Jasmine playing a rebellious, carefree criminal who escapes through a tunnel but is eventually caught. “This concept added depth and playfulness to the project,” Jasmine said. “The shoot wrapped up in just one day, and every detail was executed with precision. Preet is a genius director with an incredible vision.”
The song also features a catchy hip-hop-inspired hook step, which Jasmine learned spontaneously on set. “It was such an organic and fun process,” she said, admitting she wished she had danced even more in the video.

Highlighting the technical finesse, Jasmine revealed that the final mix and mastering were handled by Abhishek Khandelwal, Head of Music at YRF, ensuring top-notch sound quality.
“Pols is not just another song for me,” Jasmine concluded. “It’s the beginning of a vibrant new chapter in my artistic journey — filled with creativity, freedom, and passion.”
With its high-energy beats, powerful storytelling, and visually striking video, *Pols* is set to be another standout track in Jasmine Sandlas’ ever-evolving music career.
