Lucknow: In commemoration of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya’s birth anniversary, the Swadeshi Jagran Manch in collaboration with the Swavalambi Bharat Abhiyan, Awadh Prant, Lucknow, is organizing a “Swadeshi and Entrepreneurship Development Yatra”*. The initiative aims to spread awareness about indigenous products, encourage self-reliance, and strengthen the resolve of youth toward nation-building through entrepreneurship.
The yatra will *inaugurate on September 25, 2025, at the Skill Development Mission Auditorium, Aliganj, Lucknow**, and conclude on **October 2, 2025, in Barabanki.
Anupam Srivastava**, regional coordinator of Swadeshi Jagran Manch, is playing a pivotal role in promoting the Swadeshi ideology across society, inspiring youth with the message of self-reliance and nation-building. Amit Singh, state coordinator, outlined that the yatra will pass through various development blocks, hosting seminars and interactive sessions to disseminate the ideals of Swadeshi and entrepreneurship. Participants will also receive informative materials distinguishing Swadeshi and non-Swadeshi products.
Mittal Ji, vice-president of Small Industries, met local entrepreneurs during the tour, understanding their challenges and encouraging youth to embrace self-reliance. Sandeep Bansal, national president of the All India Industries and Trade Association, announced a campaign to collect one million signatures across the state to further promote Swadeshi and entrepreneurial awareness.
Organizers emphasized that adopting Swadeshi not only strengthens individual confidence and self-reliance but also contributes to a prosperous and robust nation. The yatra seeks to inspire every household to embrace Swadeshi and every young person to pursue entrepreneurship, marking it as a historic initiative for national development.
