Lucknow: Surgeon Vice Admiral Kavita Sahai, AVSM, SM, VSM, Director General Medical Services (Navy), paid heartfelt tribute to the brave soldiers of the Army Medical Corps during her visit to the AMC Centre and College in Lucknow.
On April 11, 2026, she laid a wreath at the AMC War Memorial ‘Shraddhanjali’ located in the Lucknow Cantonment, honoring the supreme sacrifice of AMC personnel who laid down their lives in the line of duty.
During the visit, she was accompanied by Lieutenant General Shivendra Singh, AVSM, Commandant of the AMC Centre and College, along with the Officer-in-Charge Records and Colonel Commandant of the Army Medical Corps.

The solemn ceremony witnessed the participation of officers, Junior Commissioned Officers (JCOs), soldiers, and recruits of the Army Medical Corps, who gathered to pay homage to their fallen comrades.
The tribute underscored the invaluable role of military medical personnel, whose dedication and sacrifice continue to inspire generations within the armed forces.
