Lucknow — The fifth edition of the Sur Sandhya Music Club unfolded as a deeply immersive and memorable musical evening on Saturday at The Club, Omaxe The Palace, located on Amar Shaheed Path, Gomti Nagar. Held from 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm, the event brought together melody, devotion, and community spirit in a vibrant celebration of music.
More than 100 music enthusiasts and participants attended the programme, lending the evening a lively and engaging atmosphere. Their enthusiastic participation and heartfelt response played a significant role in shaping the success of the event, transforming it into an interactive and emotionally resonant experience.
A standout feature of this edition was the introduction of Bhajan Jamming, presented for the first time under the Sur Sandhya banner. The devotional segment added a distinctive spiritual layer to the programme, encouraging collective singing and audience interaction, and was warmly received by attendees.
The event was organised under the guidance of Sanjay Deshmankar, Ravindra Joshi, and Prajyot Dewaskar, a Graded AIR Artist from Mumbai, whose artistic direction ensured a seamless flow of performances and maintained high musical standards throughout the evening.
The performances were further enriched by the contribution of seasoned accompanists — Anant on tabla, Deepak on octopad, and Manoj on keyboard — whose technical expertise and musical sensitivity added depth and rhythm to the presentations.
With its blend of classical expression, devotional music, and participatory formats, the fifth edition of Sur Sandhya reaffirmed the club’s commitment to nurturing musical culture and fostering a shared appreciation for the arts.
Encouraged by the enthusiastic response and strong community engagement, the Sur Sandhya team has announced plans for the next edition in March 2026, promising yet another evening dedicated to soulful music and meaningful artistic exchange.
