Growing platform for music lovers in Lucknow celebrates journey towards first anniversary.
Lucknow: The sixth edition of Sur Sandhya Music Club was held on 3 April 2026 at Hotel The Leaf, Lucknow, receiving an overwhelming response.
The program featured 25 singers with enthusiastic audience participation, presenting nearly 50 songs over 4+ hours with remarkable energy and engagement. Notably, all six events have witnessed participation of over 100 people each, including performers and audience members.
The previous editions were held at Chaiwala dot com (21 June 2025), Hotel Indraprastha Inn (2 August 2025), Bauddha Auditorium (20 September 2025), and Club House, Omaxe The Place (23 November 2025 & 25 January 2026).
Sur Sandhya Music Club was established in 2015 by Sanjay Deshmankar to provide a platform for the Maharashtrian community to showcase their musical talent. It was opened to the general public on 21 June 2025, with Prajyot Dewaskar, Graded AIR Mumbai artist, bringing new ideas and dimensions to the initiative, as informed by founder member Ravindra Joshi.
With a vision of hosting an event approximately every 45–50 days, the next edition of Sur Sandhya Music Club is planned around 21 June (World Music Day), marking its first anniversary.
