Mumbai—In a move that has put old rumors to rest, actor Sunny Deol has publicly praised Shah Rukh Khan’s son, Aryan Khan, for his upcoming series, “Bad of Bollywood.” The veteran actor shared the series trailer on his social media, offering words of encouragement to the young director.
Aryan Khan’s new series is set to stream on Netflix soon, and its first song, “Badli Si Hawa,” has already been released. When Shah Rukh Khan shared a clip of the song, Deol followed suit by sharing the trailer and gave Aryan his blessing. This public display of support from Sunny Deol dispels long-standing speculation about a rivalry between him and Shah Rukh Khan.
Deol took to his Instagram to express his admiration. “Dear Aryan Khan, your show looks amazing. Bobby Deol has also been praised a lot. Your father must be very proud of you. All the very best, son, chak de phatte,” the Gadar star wrote.

The show, which promises to be a satirical take on the film industry, will explore the glamour, gossip, and inner workings of Bollywood. The series is written by Aryan Khan himself and features a star-studded cast including Bobby Deol, Lakshya, Sahher Bambba, Manoj Pahwa, Mona Singh, Manish Chaudhary, Raghav Juyal, and Gautami Kapoor.

Bobby Deol will be seen in the role of a major star, and the series will also feature cameo appearances from a host of Bollywood bigwigs, including Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, and Karan Johar, among others. The show is also the debut project for Aryan Khan’s rumored girlfriend, Larissa Bonesi.
A grand preview event was recently held in Mumbai, hosted by Shah Rukh Khan. At the event, Aryan Khan thanked his mother, Gauri Khan, for producing the series.
According to the creators, the series is scheduled to release on September 18.
