Summer Internship Drive Organised at CSIT Department of Rohilkhand University

Bareilly: A summer internship drive was successfully organised at the Department of Computer Science and Information Technology (CSIT) of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University on Tuesday. The drive was conducted in collaboration with Softpro India Computer Technologies Pvt. Ltd., providing students with an opportunity to explore career prospects in the IT sector.

The event was held under the guidance of the university’s Vice-Chancellor Prof. K. P. Singh. The initiative was supported by Training and Placement Officer Prof. Manoj Kumar and Head of the Department Prof. Vinay Rishiwal, whose efforts contributed to the successful organisation of the drive.

Representing the company, Yashi Asthana and Akshat Pathak attended the programme as special guests.

The session began with a pre-internship talk in which Akshat Pathak discussed current trends in the IT industry and the skills required to succeed in the sector. Yashi Asthana later explained the internship opportunities, selection criteria and the overall process of the internship drive.

As part of the selection process, the company conducted an MCQ-based internship test for participating students. The results of the test will be announced by the company shortly.

The event was coordinated by Dr. Anil Bisht and Dr. Preeti Yadav, who played a key role in organising the drive.

A total of 105 students from B.Tech third year and MCA first year participated in the internship drive. The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and proved to be a valuable opportunity for their professional and career development.
