LUCKNOW – The Hussain Ganj Police have successfully recovered a motorcycle that was stolen from outside King George’s Medical University (KGMU) and have arrested the thief. The swift action follows a complaint filed by the motorcycle’s owner.
The incident occurred on Thursday when Aditya Shukla, a resident of Sitapur, came to KGMU to get medicine for his aunt. While he was inside, an unknown person stole his HF Deluxe motorcycle, with the registration number UP 34 AB 5721. Shukla immediately filed a written complaint at the Chowk Police Station.
Acting on a tip from an informant, the Hussain Ganj police team apprehended the suspect, Ali Khan, at Gate Number 2 of Bal Vidya Mandir School. Khan, a resident of Hussain Ganj and son of Nizamuddin, is a habitual offender with a significant criminal history. He has a total of five cases registered against him: three at the Sarojini Nagar Police Station, one at Chowk, and one at Hussain Ganj. He has previously served time in jail for a past offense.


The police credited the quick response and diligence of the team, which included Chitwapur Police Post In-charge Ved Prakash Yadav, Sub-Inspector Shivam Verma, and Constable Nitin Sharma, for the successful arrest and recovery of the vehicle.
