Statue of Bharat Ratna Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya Unveiled at University of Lucknow by Honorable Vice-Chancellor Prof. Alok Kumar Rai
Lucknow – The Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor of the University of Lucknow, Prof. Alok Kumar Rai, today unveiled the statue of Bharat Ratna Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya in the Malaviya Garden in front of historical Malviya hall.
The ceremony, held at 12:00 PM, paid homage to the revered freedom fighter, educationist, and founder of Banaras Hindu University.
The statue stands as a testament to Malaviya’s immense contributions to education and nation-building.
Coinciding with the auspicious occasion of Basant Panchami, Prof. Rai also inaugurated the newly constructed temple of Maa Saraswati at LBS Hostel. The event saw the presence of faculty members, administrative officials, and students, who gathered in devotion to celebrate the festival, marking the arrival of spring and honoring the goddess of wisdom and learning.
