Lucknow: In a step forward toward technological advancement in education, a newly constructed, state-of-the-art computer lab was inaugurated at City Montessori School (CMS), RDSO Campus by the Director General of RDSO, Uday Borwankar. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from teachers, students, and parents, and marked a significant milestone in CMS’s commitment to providing holistic education using modern infrastructure.
Borwankar inaugurated the facility by cutting the ceremonial ribbon and later interacted with students while inspecting the lab. He also participated in a tree plantation drive, promoting environmental consciousness among the younger generation. In his address, he praised the initiative, stating, “This world-class computer lab will immensely benefit students by exposing them to the latest in science, technology, and academics. I encourage all students to plant a tree in dedication to their mothers, creating a green legacy for the future.”
Welcoming the chief guest and dignitaries, CMS Manager Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon emphasized the school’s unwavering commitment to the all-round development of its students. “This ultra-modern computer lab will not only enhance subject learning but also cultivate a spirit of innovation and creative scientific application in our students,” she said.
The inauguration ceremony featured vibrant educational and cultural performances by CMS RDSO students, promoting themes of world unity, peace, harmony, and interfaith understanding. A powerful street play on environmental preservation further inspired the audience to act for nature.
The event commenced with a soulful school prayer. CMS RDSO Campus Principal, Jyotsna Atul, in her address, reaffirmed the school’s dedication to offering a peaceful academic environment equipped with the latest resources and technologies. She expressed her gratitude to the CMS management for consistently upgrading facilities in alignment with students’ evolving educational needs.
