Instructions to officers to complete preparations related to three-day Mango Festival – Dinesh Pratap Singh
Lucknow: Like last year, Yogi government is organizing state level Mango Festival this year as well. This event will be organized from July 12 to July 14, 2024 at Awadh Shilp Gram in Lucknow. All necessary preparations related to this three-day Mango Festival are being completed. Giving this information, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Horticulture, Agricultural Marketing, Agricultural Foreign Trade and Agricultural Export of the state, Shri Dinesh Pratap Singh said that preparations are being made to make this year’s Mango Festival a grander event than the Mango Festival organized last year. He informed that apart from Uttar Pradesh, representatives of Horticulture Department, progressive farmers, gardeners, stakeholders and exporters of other states will also participate in the festival.
The Horticulture Minister said that all the officers and employees related to the Mango Festival have been assigned their duties and they have also been directed to complete their duties in a timely manner and with quality. Basic facilities are being ensured during the Mango Festival so that the farmers, producers, exporters etc. who come to the Mango Festival do not face any kind of problem. He said that in order to promote the diversity and quality of mangoes, as many varieties of mango as possible will be displayed in the Mango Festival. Along with this, mango producers who do new experiments in mango cultivation will also be honored. He said that like last year, various competitions will also be organized in this Mango Festival.
