SR Group of Institutions hosts dialogue with Social Welfare Minister Asim Arun, discusses ‘Guarantee of Scholarship for Every Eligible Student’
Lucknow: A special Student Interaction Session was organized at the Vivekananda Auditorium of SR Group of Institutions, Lucknow. Uttar Pradesh Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Social Welfare and SC/ST Welfare, Asim Arun, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
The program was also attended by SR Group Vice Chairman Piyush Singh Chauhan and Deputy Director of Social Welfare Department, Anand Kumar Singh.
Addressing the gathering, Minister Asim Arun stated that the Yogi Government is firmly committed to ensuring a guarantee of scholarship for every eligible student. This year, the government has set a new record by distributing scholarships to 67 lakh students.
He detailed the new scholarship system, including early opening of the portal, improved data verification process, and a strong provision to ensure no eligible student is deprived under any circumstances. The Minister emphasized that students will no longer face delays, and scholarships will be credited regularly to their accounts throughout the year.
Asim Arun also shared his personal journey with the students, revealing that he was originally a police officer, but the desire to serve society on a much larger scale inspired him to enter politics.
During the event, the Minister distributed certificates to meritorious students and answered their queries. The session remained highly interactive. At the end, he took a memorable group selfie with all the students and faculty members present in the auditorium. The management of SR Group of Institutions expressed gratitude to the Minister.
