Lucknow: As Ayodhya prepares for the auspicious flag-hoisting ceremony at the Ram Temple on 25 November 2025, the Ramakrishna Math in Nirala Nagar, Lucknow will host a series of special spiritual events to allow devotees in the state capital to partake in the sacred occasion.
Swami Muktinathananda Ji Maharaj, President of Ramakrishna Math, Lucknow, said that the flag-hoisting at the Ram Temple is occurring at an exceptionally auspicious moment, making it a spiritually significant day for millions of devotees. “To ensure that the people of Lucknow can also experience the blessings of this divine occasion, Ramakrishna Math will organise various programmes at the Universal Temple of Sri Ramakrishna throughout the day,” he said.
According to the Math, the programmes on 25 November will begin at 7:00 AM with a special puja, which will conclude at 8:30 AM. This will be followed by a continuous chanting of the Ram Sahasranam eleven times between 8:30 AM and 12:00 noon. The recitation will be led by 10-year-old Aryama Shukla, who will chant the verses from memory, while monks and devotees will participate by reading from the text. The Math believes the chanting will invoke the blessings and grace of Lord Ram for all participants.

In the evening session, the Sandhya Aarti of Sri Ramakrishna will take place from 5:50 PM to 6:30 PM. This will be followed by three rounds of the Hanuman Sahasranam, once again led by young Aryama Shukla, with devotees joining in. The events will conclude with distribution of prasad to all attendees.
Swami Muktinathananda Ji Maharaj said that the purpose of this spiritual observance is to inspire devotees to imbibe the ideals of Lord Ram and to receive divine blessings for progress and success in all spheres of life.
