Lucknow: Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) continues its dedicated efforts to skill its students and prepare them for the demands of the industry. To bridge the gap between academic learning and professional skills, the university regularly organizes training programs, workshops, and seminars. These initiatives aim to equip students with the latest technologies and skills during their studies.
In this context, a three-day training program on Web Technologies for third-year B.Tech students concluded on Thursday, under the guidance of Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. JP Pandey. The event was organized by the Training and Placement Department of AKTU. The program, conducted in collaboration with SoftPro India Computer Technologies, focused on imparting practical knowledge of computer languages and current web technologies.
During the three-day training session, industry experts taught students about various computer languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap. Special emphasis was placed on contemporary and widely-used computer languages. Students had the opportunity to learn these languages hands-on and worked on projects under the guidance of the experts.
At the conclusion of the program, awards were presented to the most outstanding performers. Ayush Shukla received the Performer Award, Virendra Sharma was recognized with the Outstanding Performer Award, and Adarsh Kumar was honored with the Best Performer Award for his exceptional work during the training.
The training program was directed by Prof. Neelam Srivastava, Dean of Training and Placement. The Chief Technical Officer of SoftPro India, Rohit Kumar, and technical experts Akshat Pathak and Asif Ansari provided training to the students. The event was organized by Pratibha Shukla, and the occasion was attended by Harish Chandra, Shishir Dwivedi, and several students.
This training program successfully equipped the students with the essential skills required to excel in web technologies, offering them valuable insights and practical experience in line with industry standards. The university’s continued focus on skill development will help students be better prepared to face professional challenges in their future careers.
