Social Worker Tanushree Gupta Crowned VG Mrs. India Empress 2025-26

NEW DELHI – In a national-level beauty pageant, social worker Tanushree Gupta from the capital was crowned VG Mrs. India Empress 2025-26. She won the prestigious title at the Fairly Hotels & Resorts in New Delhi.

Expressing her excitement at a press conference, Tanushree stated that the competition was based on the theme “Dream, Dare, and Be the Queen.” The event featured several challenging rounds, including a saree round, an official dance segment, an evening gown showcase, a talent show, and a personal interview.

In addition to winning the main title, Tanushree also secured three notable sub-titles:

  • VG Empress Heart of Gold
  • VG Empress Legacy Leader
  • VG Empress Healthy Glow

Speaking on her victory, Tanushree said, “This title is not just a symbol of beauty, but a representation of every woman’s journey of resilience, balance, and dreams.” She dedicated her win to all women who strive to shine in their families, careers, and communities. She also credited her husband and three children for being her constant source of inspiration throughout the competition.

An entrepreneur herself, Tanushree believes that rapid industrial growth is essential for India’s progress. She stated that this will help reduce human migration, improve per capita income, and prevent talent drain, ultimately helping the country become a developed nation.
