SMS Lucknow: MBA Students Spark Creativity at Ad-Mad Show

Lucknow: The School of Management Sciences (SMS), Lucknow, turned into a vibrant hub of innovation and marketing flair as MBA students took center stage at the Ad-Mad Show, organized by the Management and Training & Placement Department.

The event offered a dynamic platform for students to display their creativity, wit, and marketing acumen through imaginative advertisements for fictional products and services. Participants showcased their ideas using humorous skits, catchy jingles, clever slogans, and engaging visual storytelling, all reflecting a deep understanding of consumer psychology and branding strategies.

Judging the show were industry experts  Swati Dogra, Head – HR, South Asia, OMYA Group, and  Amit Mishra, Director of Finance, Union Bank of Switzerland. Both praised the students for their originality, presence of mind, and confident presentations. “Events like these are essential in shaping well-rounded professionals. They hone soft skills and instill the confidence needed to thrive in the corporate world,” said Dogra.

The Director of SMS Lucknow lauded the initiative, highlighting the value of experiential learning in management education. Faculty members and staff were present to support and encourage the students.

The Ad-Mad Show stood as a testament to SMS Lucknow’s commitment to nurturing future leaders by combining academics with creative and practical learning experiences.
