Lucknow: The School of Management Sciences (SMS), Lucknow, in collaboration with the SMS Incubation and Entrepreneurial Foundation, organized an insightful expert lecture on “Incubation Opportunities and Entrepreneurship” to promote startup awareness and innovation among students.
The session featured Vandana Sharma, Manager at the Innovation Hub of AKTU, Lucknow, as the keynote speaker. She shared valuable insights into incubation support systems, government-backed initiatives, and the evolving entrepreneurial ecosystem in India, especially for early-stage entrepreneurs. Her address inspired budding innovators to tap into available resources and turn their ideas into successful ventures.
Sharad Singh, Secretary and CEO of SMS, encouraged students to make the most of startup-supportive government schemes and highlighted the availability of financial aid and grants. He urged aspiring entrepreneurs to believe in their ideas and take the leap.

In his welcome address, Prof. Bharat Raj Singh, Director General (Technical), underlined SMS’s commitment to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship. He shared that the institute is nurturing a number of student-led startups, and continues to be a launchpad for creative, business-oriented minds.

The event witnessed the participation of several dignitaries, including Dr. Dharmendra Singh, Prof. Pramod Kumar Singh, Dr. Hemant Kumar Singh, Prof. Amarjeet Singh, Dr. Arunesh Srivastav, and Dr. Ajay Yadav. Also present were faculty members Dr. Shrinkhla Srivastava, Dr. Pushpanjali, Dr. Shobhana Singh, Dr. Man Mohan Singh, and Sujata Sinha, among others.

The session concluded with a call to action for students to pursue innovation, leverage incubation facilities, and contribute to India’s growing entrepreneurial landscape.
