Smile Train treats cleft lip patients

Lucknow: Smile Train is an international children’s charity organization which is supporting Free Cleft Care globally conducted today its Nutrition Programme at Hotel Hyatt Regency, Gomti Nagar through Vivekananda Polyclinic & Institute of Medical Sciences, (VPIMS) Lucknow from 6th to 8th September, 2025.

The programme started with floral offering of the Holy Trinity & lighting of Lamp by the dignitaries. Felicitation of the Dignitaries on the Dias by Dr. Amit Agarwal, Dr. Richa Srivastava & Prof S.D Pandey.

The inauguration ceremony of the Smile Train Nutrition Programme was graced by the presence of Swami Muktinathananda ji, Secretary of the Institute, who enlightened the participants about the importance of correct nutrition for the proper growth & development of the children.

The  Chief Guest Senior Director- Comprehensive Cleft Care Programs, Smile Train India,  Leela Negi Imam also educated the participants about self-home care. It was an interactive session conducted at Hotel Hyatt Regency, Gomti Nagar between 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. under the guidance & blessing of Swami Muktinathananda Ji.

Plastic Surgeon & Project Director (Smile Train) Dr. Amit Agarwal & Nutritional Advisor & Programme Supervisor Dr. Neeta Bhargava, HOD, Department of Paediatrics & Neonatology also addressed the gathering & guided the parents.
