Government is Sensitive and Continually Working for Entrepreneurial Welfare – Rakesh Sachan

Lucknow: The Entrepreneurial Conference of Laghu Udyog Bharati was held  at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan. The event was inaugurated by Rakesh Sachan, Cabinet Minister for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises.

The program was conducted by Bharat Thard, the State General Secretary, who presented the major issues faced by industries. Rakesh Sachan informed the attendees about the steps taken by the government to address the problems faced by small industries. He highlighted that proposals worth ₹44 lakh crore have been received for capital investment, and proposals worth ₹15,000 crore are expected in the near future. Under the guidance of the Chief Minister, the government has been sensitive to the issues of industries and continues to take action in the interest of entrepreneurs. He also mentioned that the law and order situation in the state has improved significantly, and infrastructure facilities such as roads, highways, railways, and air services are constantly expanding.

Madhusudan Dadu, State President of Laghu Udyog Bharati, announced the full units of the organization from districts like Farrukhabad, Kannauj, Deoria, Sultanpur, Sitapur, and Rampur, and also mentioned the establishment of a women’s unit in Kanpur. The National President of Laghu Udyog Bharati emphasized the need for expanding the organization’s presence across the state.

General Secretary Shreeprakash praised the state unit, stating that the organization works with the mindset of treating industries as a family, contributing to both economic and social development.

The program also witnessed the presence of Anil Kumar, Chairman of the Revenue Council of Uttar Pradesh, who, alongside All-India General Secretary Rakesh Garg, addressed the issues faced by entrepreneurs regarding land and revenue matters.

In the subsequent session, Sanjog Kumar Gunjan, Assistant General Manager of SIDBI (Small Industries Development Bank of India), shared information about various schemes operated by SIDBI for entrepreneurs.

The final session of the Entrepreneurial Conference was inaugurated by Brajesh Pathak, Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. Alok Kumar, Principal Secretary of Micro, Small, Medium Enterprises and Export Promotion, and Rakesh Garg, Chairman of the Uttar Pradesh Small Industries Corporation, were also present.

Madhusudan Dadu presented several industrial issues, including the issue of residential property tax in municipal areas being equal to that of industries, interest-free loans for solar energy plants in industries, upgrading the Nivesh Mitra Portal, pollution concerns, simplification of fire safety rules, and approval of industrial unit plans by all departments.

Key problems were also raised concerning the Pollution Department’s solution plan, the UP Industrial Development Authority (UPSIDC) solution plan, and the de-notification of land in the Moradabad Special Economic Zone (SEZ) for use in general industries. These issues were given priority by the Principal Secretary, who assured that prompt action would be taken.

In his speech, Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak said, “This government belongs to you, and all the required work will be carried out with the cooperation of entrepreneurs.” He emphasized that all essential goods used daily are produced by small industries, and these industries serve as the supply channel. He assured that the problems raised by Laghu Udyog Bharati would be promptly addressed at the Principal Secretary level. He also praised the work being done by Laghu Udyog Bharati in the industrial development sector and assured full government support.
