New Delhi: Škoda Auto India has unveiled the new Kushaq, strengthening its promise of making European technology accessible for Indian customers. Branded as #EasytoLove, the updated Kushaq introduces segment-first features, enhanced safety, modern design elements and a wider choice of “real automatic” transmissions, making it more appealing for Indian road conditions.
Built under Škoda’s India 2.0 strategy, the Kushaq was the brand’s first locally developed SUV and has played a key role in accelerating its growth in the country. The new version carries forward this legacy with a refreshed Modern Solid design philosophy, now available with the Monte Carlo badge from launch. Design highlights include a new front grille with chrome ribs, illuminated light band, new LED headlamps, connected LED tail-lamps with illuminated Škoda lettering, and standard alloy wheels across all variants. Three new colours—Shimla Green, Steel Grey and Cherry Red—have also been introduced.

Under the hood, the Kushaq offers a segment-first eight-speed torque converter automatic with the 1.0 TSI engine, alongside a six-speed manual. The more powerful 1.5 TSI engine comes with a six-speed manual or a proven seven-speed DSG automatic, delivering strong performance and efficiency.
Comfort and technology see major upgrades, including a panoramic sunroof, segment-first rear seat massage function, ventilated electric front seats, dual-colour ambient lighting and a feature-rich cabin. A new infotainment system with a 10.1-inch touchscreen supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, powered by Google Automotive AI with an advanced voice assistant tailored for Indian accents.

Safety remains a key strength, with the Kushaq continuing its five-star Global NCAP rating. All variants get six airbags and over 25 active and passive safety features, rising to more than 40 features on higher trims.
Ownership is made easier through the new Škoda Super Care package, offering a four-year warranty, four years of roadside assistance and four labour-free services as standard. Pre-bookings are open at ₹15,000 on Škoda Auto India’s website, with deliveries expected to begin by the end of March 2026.
