Lucknow: The much-awaited second edition of SKD Academy’s Model United Nations (SKDMUN 2.0) commenced today with vibrant energy, welcoming over 500 student delegates from across Lucknow for a two-day journey of diplomacy, dialogue, and debate. Taking place on July 19 and 20, the conference aims to empower young minds through simulated United Nations proceedings, encouraging them to address global challenges with innovation and leadership.
The event began with an inspiring inaugural ceremony, led by Mr. Manish Singh, Hon’ble Director of SKD Group, who set the tone with a compelling address on the importance of youth participation in shaping future narratives. “Young individuals hold the key to resolving the problems of tomorrow,” he said, urging delegates to embrace their roles as future policymakers and peacebuilders.
Accompanying him at the ceremony were Dr. Ashish Singh (Clinical Director), Ms. Nisha Singh (Deputy Director), and Ms. Kusum Batra (Assistant Director). The leadership team echoed a shared commitment to fostering a culture of informed dialogue and visionary thinking among students.
