Mumbai : Renowned Bollywood Sufi and devotional singer Raghav Kapoor unveiled his new music group, “Ragify – The Sound of Soul”, at the Lata Mangeshkar Auditorium in Mumbai last evening. The launch featured a three-hour-long musical journey blending timeless melodies, contemporary tunes, and soulful Sufi renditions.
The evening saw stellar performances by an ensemble of celebrated musicians—Sanjeev Rao on violin, Shyam Edvankar on percussion, Hrithik Bhatkar on keyboard, Yogesh Mothe on guitar, Harsh Gaikwad on santoor, Akeed Jabbar Khan on tabla, and Mitul Ajmeri on drums. Singers Suman Yadav, Dhyana Mehta, and Meera Parikh added further charm to the musical spectacle.
Distinguished guests at the event included ACP Sanjay Patil (Mumbai Police), Sanjeev Kumar, Director of Showtheme Productions, Ashish Chatterjee, actor, and representatives from Swadesh News (Maharashtra & Goa Bureau). The event was supported by Ambika Music Zone, with production and sound handled by Dhana Sound, video by Adjan, and hosted by Medha Antani.
