Singer Anurag Maurya spread the magic of music in ‘Bharat-Nepal Friendship Festival’

 

Many eminent artists of India and Nepal enthralled the audience with their performances in the festival, but the magical voice of Anurag Maurya especially won the hearts of the people. As soon as he started his performance, the entire college echoed with applause. He presented a unique confluence of Hindi devotional, patriotic songs as well as folk music, listening to which the audience was forced to dance. The audience was forced to dance on the popular songs sung by him. Especially, his presentation of ‘Bharat Ram Ram Gaayega’ and his closing song ‘Sandese Aate Hain’ made the ceremony memorable.

The presence of Shravasti District MLA ‘Ram Faren Pandey’, NV Entertainment and Culture Department founder ‘Neel Vijay Singh’ and local administration, educationists and dignitaries from Nepal made this event even more grand. The organizers called it an important initiative towards strengthening India-Nepal friendship.

This cultural event proved that music has no boundaries and it is not only a medium of entertainment, but also a powerful means of deepening friendship and mutual love between the two countries. Anurag Maurya’s performance undoubtedly remained the highlight of this festival, which the audience said they would remember for a long time.
