Mirzapur/Pratapgarh – A shocking incident has surfaced from Mirzapur where the body of a Sub-Inspector was transported on an e-rickshaw in the presence of the Station House Officer (SHO), raising serious questions about protocol and dignity.
The deceased, Sub-Inspector Anil Kumar Ojha (58), a resident of Makri village under Prithviganj outpost in Kotwali Dehat, Pratapgarh district, was posted at Chilh police station in Mirzapur. On Saturday, his body was found hanging at a rented house, located a short distance from the police station.
Upon receiving information, senior police officials rushed to the spot, sealed the premises, and informed the forensic team. Family members of the deceased were also notified.


The incident has not only left the police fraternity shocked but has also sparked public outrage over the manner in which the body of a serving officer was handled.
