Shaurya Sports Meet–2026 Off to an Energetic Start at SR Group of Institutions

International Presence: Former Brazilian Football Coaches Fernando and Williams Grace the Event

LUCKNOW: The SR Group of Institutions campus buzzed with high energy and athletic prowess as the two-day annual sports festival, “Shaurya Sports Meet–2026,” was inaugurated with grand fervor. The event, which has become a hallmark of the institution’s commitment to holistic development, saw a massive turnout of students and sports enthusiasts.

Ceremonial Inauguration

The festival was officially opened by Founder Chairman and MLC  Pawan Singh Chauhan. In a symbolic gesture of ambition and high aspirations, the Chairman released birds and colorful balloons into the sky, marking the commencement of the games.

In his address, Chauhan administered the sports oath to the participants, urging them to maintain the highest standards of integrity.

“Sports are not just about physical strength; they are the bedrock of character building, discipline, and leadership. Win or lose, the spirit of the game must always prevail,” he remarked.

The highlight of the opening ceremony was the presence of former Brazilian football coaches Fernando and Williams. Vice Chairman Piyush Singh Chauhan addressed the gathering, noting that sports are essential for developing the confidence and resilience required to become responsible citizens. Vice Chairperson Sushmita Singh Chauhan along with faculty members and several dignitaries were also present to encourage the participants.

The discipline and enthusiasm displayed on the field have already set a high benchmark for the remainder of the tournament, proving that Shaurya Sports Meet is a vital platform for national building through youth empowerment.
