Lucknow : In a concerted effort to streamline and strengthen the traffic system in the state capital, Lucknow Commissioner of Police (LoJCP) Babloo Kumar and District Magistrate Vishak G conducted a joint inspection of two of the city’s busiest intersections — Tedhi Pulia Chauraha and Khurram Nagar Chauraha — on Friday.
During the visit, the senior officials assessed ongoing traffic conditions, congestion patterns, and pedestrian movement in the area. They issued necessary instructions to concerned officials and traffic personnel to ensure smoother vehicular flow, enhance commuter safety, and minimize bottlenecks, especially during peak hours.
Emphasis was laid on improved signage, proper lane management, deployment of adequate traffic police, and coordination with local civic bodies for infrastructural adjustments, including road widening and signal synchronization where required.
Both LoJCP Babloo Kumar and DM Vishak G reiterated their commitment to making Lucknow’s traffic more efficient, safe, and citizen-friendly. They also encouraged public cooperation and adherence to traffic rules to support the administration’s vision of a smart, orderly city.
