Gonda, Uttar Pradesh: In a vibrant initiative linking Holi celebrations with rural empowerment, a grand exhibition was organized at Vikas Bhavan under the National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM). The stalls, showcasing products made by women from Self-Help Groups (SHGs), were inaugurated by Chief Development Officer Ankita Jain (IAS) and District Development Officer Sushil Kumar.
The exhibition featured herbal and organic gulal, traditional gujiya, papad, chips, namkeen, and decorative handicrafts, reflecting a blend of indigenous craftsmanship and purity. The officials visited each stall, interacted with the women about production and pricing, and personally purchased products, boosting their morale.
Addressing the gathering, CDO Ankita Jain emphasized promoting “Vocal for Local” and ensuring strong market access for rural women. DDO Sushil Kumar urged officials and staff to support SHG products during Holi.

Officials, employees, and SHG members attended in large numbers, with the campus echoing the spirit of self-reliance and festive joy.
