Kanpur: The India-Bangladesh border will be monitored with a searchlight made in a company in Kanpur city. In view of the possibility of intruders in the border, the BSF has given an initial order of 50 searchlights to the company. Orders are expected to be received in the future as well. With the help of this searchlight, surveillance can be done in a range of up to one kilometer.
The searchlight operated by remote control can be rotated up and down in any direction. This comes at a time when there is chaos in Bangladesh at present. Many people living there are trying to infiltrate the border. In view of this, the BSF has increased vigilance on the border. In this sequence, the BSF has ordered a searchlight from the Kalin Engineering Works Company of the city.
Mahendra Awasthi, director of the Panki-based company, said that the motorized searchlight is completely indigenous and has been made under the Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan. This is a high beam searchlight. It weighs 60 kg and can be used for seven years. It is suitable in any weather and is waterproof. It is operated by remote control.
BSF is asking for supply of the order first
Even a soldier sitting far away can easily keep an eye on the border and any kind of infiltration activities can be stopped. He told that some time ago the company had received the order for the supply. Its supply is being done. To increase surveillance on the Bangladesh border, BSF is asking for supply of this order first. The company is also preparing and providing the product accordingly.
