Lucknow — The State Bank of India’s Local Head Office, Lucknow, celebrated the nation’s Independence Day with great enthusiasm at its Moti Mahal Marg, Hazratganj premises.
The ceremony began with the hoisting of the national flag by Dipak Kumar De, Chief General Manager, Lucknow Circle. Addressing the gathering, De paid heartfelt homage to the freedom fighters who laid down their lives for the country and reiterated SBI’s unwavering commitment to nation-building through financial inclusion, digital transformation, and customer-focused banking.
The celebrations were enriched by a vibrant cultural programme, featuring patriotic songs, dances, and skits performed by SBI employees. These performances reflected India’s cultural richness and its unity in diversity.
The event was attended by senior officials, retired employees, staff members, and their families, creating a warm and inclusive atmosphere befitting the occasion.
