SBI Ladies’ Club, Lucknow Circle Extends Support to Children with Special Needs at Drishti Samajik Sansthan

Lucknow: The State Bank of India (SBI) Ladies’ Club, Lucknow Circle, organized a community service program at Drishti Samajik Sansthan, Lucknow, reaffirming its commitment to social responsibility and community welfare.

Drishti Samajik Sansthan, home to around 260 children with special needs, provides accommodation and training in various life skills to children with physical and multiple disabilities. Recognizing the institution’s efforts, the SBI Ladies’ Club presented essential equipment including ceiling fans, sewing machines, pico machines, washing machines, and geysers for the benefit of the children.

The event was graced by Sreedevi Surya, President, Pan India SBI Ladies’ Club, in the august presence of Poonam Tewari, Vice President, Pan India SBI Ladies’ Club, and Rituparna De, President, SBI Ladies’ Club, Lucknow Circle.

Speaking on the occasion, Mrs. Surya emphasized the Club’s dedication to supporting organizations that create meaningful impact in the lives of differently-abled individuals. “Our contribution today will enhance the overall well-being of these children,” she said.

Expressing his gratitude, Dhiresh Bahadur, President of Drishti Samajik Sansthan, lauded the initiative and thanked the SBI Ladies’ Club for its continued support. The children, brimming with enthusiasm, extended a warm welcome to the members and shared their joy at receiving the much-needed resources.

Other members of the SBI Ladies’ Club and Drishti Samajik Sansthan were also present, making the occasion one of warmth, inclusivity, and hope.
