Satyaki – The Invincible Warrior of Dwapar Era Launched in Lucknow in a Grand Ceremony

Lucknow– In a celebration of mythology, history, and cultural heritage, the grand unveiling of “Satyaki – Dwapar ka Ajey Yoddha” took place at the prestigious Universal Book Sellers in Lucknow. Authored by renowned Bollywood director and writer Dushyant Pratap Singh, the book chronicles the heroic saga of the formidable warrior Satyaki from the Dwapar Yuga.

The launch event witnessed an august gathering of literary and cultural stalwarts, including Padma Shri awardee and eminent folk singer Malini Awasthi, noted educationist Rajesh Dayal, Universal Book Sellers CEO Gaurav Prakash, and the author himself. The event turned into a confluence of storytelling, tradition, and scholarly reflection.

Speaking at the launch, Malini Awasthi said, “I am overjoyed that writers like Dushyant Pratap Singh are bringing forgotten heroes and karmayogis of our past back into public consciousness. Such literature not only illuminates their extraordinary lives but also instills pride in our youth and reconnects them with the eternal ethos of Sanatan Dharma.”

Rajesh Dayal emphasized the importance of books in preserving and transmitting history, noting, “Characters like Satyaki deserve their rightful place in modern literature. Knowing them can be truly inspiring for today’s generation.”

Gaurav Prakash shared his delight over hosting such culturally rich content at his bookstore, stating, “Whenever books like these arrive on our shelves, it feels more like a cultural movement than a business transaction.”

Dushyant Pratap Singh described the book as both an emotional and creative challenge. “Introducing Satyaki to the current generation has been a heartfelt endeavor for me. The book is available across major online platforms and distributors like Crossword, Om, Sapna, and Universal,” he added.

Interestingly, the book also ventures beyond the printed page. Its audiobook version, clocking at over 8.5 hours, is now live on all major audio platforms, with top industry technicians contributing to its immersive quality. Singh hinted that a web series based on the book may soon follow, extending the tale of Satyaki from text to screen.

Malini Awasthi concluded with a poignant message: “Governments must also take consistent initiatives to preserve and promote such cultural narratives. Our epics and unsung heroes like Satyaki are vital threads in the fabric of Indian identity.”

The event was not just a book launch—it was a cultural celebration that turned Lucknow into a witness to history and heroism reborn.
