Lucknow: Saraswati Dental College & Hospital, Lucknow, celebrated “Sarang 2025”, its much-awaited Convocation Ceremony for the outgoing BDS batch. The event marked a proud moment for graduating students, faculty, and parents alike, symbolizing years of dedication, discipline, and academic excellence.
The ceremony commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp by esteemed dignitaries — Madhu Mathur, Chairperson, Saraswati Group of Institutions; Dr. Rajat Mathur, President, SDC&H; Dr. Smita Mathur, Director, SHRC & BSM College of Nursing; Dr. Kunal Sah, Principal, SDC&H; Lt. Col. Sandhya, Director, Nursing and Paramedical Sciences; Dr. Sunira Chandra, Dean, PG Studies; Col. (Dr.) A.K. Jha, Dean, UG Studies; Dr. Alka Yadu, Dean, Basic Sciences and NAAC Advisor; and Cdr. Sumit Ghosh.
The event’s highlight was the Oath Ceremony, administered by Dr. Kunal Sah, where the young graduates solemnly took the Hippocratic Oath, pledging to uphold ethics and serve humanity with compassion and integrity.
Outstanding achievers in both curricular and co-curricular spheres were felicitated by the dignitaries, recognizing their excellence and contribution to the institution’s vibrant community. In his valedictory address, Dr. Rajat Mathur emphasized the importance of empathy, honesty, and dedication in the dental profession, encouraging graduates to remain lifelong learners and ambassadors of ethical healthcare.
