Sara Ali Khan Reflects on a Difficult Year, Says Family Drew Strength from Grace and Dignity

Mumbai: Actor Sara Ali Khan has opened up about the challenging phase her family faced earlier this year following the knife assault on her father, Saif Ali Khan. Speaking on her aunt Soha Ali Khan’s podcast “All About Her”, which also featured veteran actor Sharmila Tagore, Sara described the incident as a deeply testing time for the family.

“Even during the most trying times, I have learned that dignity and grace matter more than anything else,” Sara said. “As a family, we’ve experienced a lot together, particularly with abba earlier this year.”

Saif Ali Khan was injured during an attempted robbery at his Mumbai residence in January, suffering multiple stab wounds to his arm and back. He underwent surgery and later recovered, but the incident left a lasting emotional impact on the family.

Sara credited her grandmother Sharmila Tagore for being a source of strength, adding that her composure and dignity are qualities she deeply admires and aspires to adopt in her own life.

On the work front, Sara was recently seen in Metro… In Dino, a spiritual sequel to Life in a… Metro. She will next appear in Pati Patni Aur Woh Do, alongside Ayushmann Khurrana, Rakul Preet Singh, and Wamiqa Gabbi.
