Saluting the Spirit of Freedom – Seth M.R. Jaipuria, Goel Campus Marks Independence Day

Lucknow: Seth M.R. Jaipuria, Goel Campus came alive with patriotic fervour on 15th August 2025 as the entire school community gathered to celebrate the nation’s 78th Independence Day. The celebration began with a warm welcome address by Head Boy Abhiraj Mishra, who extended heartfelt greetings to Chief Guest Prof. Vinod Solanki – Former Head, Dept. of English; Former Director, HRDC-UGC, DDU Gorakhpur University; Prant Prashikshan Pramukh, Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari – along with Principal Dr. Rina Pathak.

A spirited march past, led by the school band, Head Boy, Head Girl, House Captains, Vice-Captains, and council members, set the stage for the flag hoisting by the Chief Guest, followed by the National Anthem that echoed pride and unity. Radha-Krishna presentations by pre-primary students beautifully depicted the essence of Bharat. Cultural performances, patriotic renditions, and an innovative segment titled “Celebrating Bharat” showcased the students’ creativity and love for the nation.

In his words of wisdom, Prof. Solanki urged students to become “torchbearers of a stronger tomorrow”, reminding them that education should enlighten the mind while shaping character, and that “nation-building begins with self-discipline and service.”

Chairman, Goel Group of Institutions, Mr. Mahesh Agarwal, in his heartfelt message, praised the school’s dedication to instilling patriotism and remarked, “True freedom lies in responsible action and selfless service.”

Principal Dr. Rina Pathak urged students to cherish hard-earned liberty, reminding them that “Independence is not just a privilege, but a responsibility to build a stronger, united Bharat.”
