Bareilly: The 23rd Convocation Ceremony of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University was held at the Atal Auditorium under the chairmanship of Governor and Chancellor Anandiben Patel. The event marked a significant moment as the university conferred the Lifetime Achievement Award–2025 on Jharkhand Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar, an alumnus of the institution.
Addressing the gathering, Governor Anandiben Patel said the introduction of the Lifetime Achievement Award by the university is a commendable initiative that will inspire generations of students and academicians. She added that it is a matter of pride that the first recipient of this prestigious honour is Shri Santosh Kumar Gangwar, who has made remarkable contributions in public life and brought glory to the university.
Highlighting the value of continuous learning, the Governor emphasised that education does not end in classrooms or with degrees but continues throughout life as a dynamic and evolving process.

The ceremony witnessed the presence of distinguished guests, faculty members, students, and alumni who celebrated the achievements and legacy of the university.
