Bareilly — Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University, Bareilly, enthusiastically inaugurated its ‘Diksharambh’ Orientation Program today, marking an inspiring start to the academic journey for its newly admitted first-year students.
The program, held under the guidance of Vice-Chancellor Prof. K. P. Singh, was aimed at warmly welcoming the new batch. In his address, Prof. Singh emphasized the importance of holistic development, discipline, values, and innovation. He encouraged students to embrace their academic journey with dedication and curiosity and to make a positive contribution to society. He also urged them to make the most of the university’s facilities, reminding them of the sacrifices made by their parents. He stressed that their goal should not be to simply become good engineers, but to make the nation proud.
The inaugural ceremony was attended by several dignitaries, including:

The program was efficiently conducted by Prof. Sanjay Singh and Prof. M. A. Ansari, who guided students through informative sessions on the university’s academic structure, professional ethics, student welfare facilities, and career development opportunities.

A key highlight of the event was a special lecture by Prof. K. Srinivas on the application of the latest AI tools in higher education, where he emphasized their transformative role in teaching and learning. Shri Anil Kumar shared insights into advancements in solar and wind energy, motivating students to integrate sustainable technologies into their studies.
The presence of these distinguished experts provided a forward-looking perspective on education, technology, and sustainability. The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by Prof. Rakesh Maurya, who expressed his gratitude to all attendees.
