RLD General Secretary Anil Dubey Savours Dussehri Mango

Malihabad: In a heartfelt celebration of tradition, agriculture, and community spirit, Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) General Secretary Anil Dubey attended a mango feast hosted at the residence of local youth leader Narendra Yadav ‘Katu’ in Malihabad on Sunday. The event witnessed a grand reception by hundreds of local residents, including women and elderly citizens who welcomed Dubey with warmth and enthusiasm.

Narendra Yadav honoured the RLD leader with a flower bouquet, traditional stole, and a memento, setting the tone for a day that celebrated both cultural pride and the region’s rich horticultural legacy.

During the event, Dubey relished various varieties of mangoes, notably Malihabad’s world-renowned Dussehri, and praised its unique sweetness, aroma, and appeal. “The Dussehri mango of Malihabad is globally admired for its taste, colour, and form,” he remarked. “And just like the mangoes here, the people of Malihabad are filled with sweetness and warmth in their conduct.”

He further lauded the dedication of local farmers, saying, “It is truly joyful to witness the passion and hard work of our farmer brothers and sisters, who make it possible for us to enjoy these luscious summer fruits. Whether it is the sweetness of Amrapali, the distinctive fragrance of Dussehri, or the rich taste of Chausa—all of it reflects the toil and commitment of our farming community.”

Dubey also urged attendees to recognize and support the efforts of farmers, emphasizing that their contribution goes beyond cultivation—it strengthens the backbone of the nation’s agrarian identity.

The event was graced by Additional Government Advocate Arun Kumar Pandey, Vijay Yadav, Indrajit (BDC), Kapil Yadav (Municipal Councillor), Vinay Pratap Singh, Shailendra Singh, and numerous residents, including women and youth, all of whom made the gathering a vibrant display of local unity and agricultural pride.
