Bareilly: A review meeting on complaints received through the IGRS portal was held yesterday at the Collectorate Auditorium under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Avinash Singh.
During the meeting, the District Magistrate noted with concern that the Executive Engineer of the Rural Water Corporation had not resolved a single complaint on the portal. Expressing dissatisfaction, he directed that strict action be taken against the officials responsible.
He instructed all officers to focus on satisfaction feedback, emphasizing that the Chief Minister is continuously monitoring these complaints online. Officials were further directed to sit in their offices from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM daily to hear grievances from the public and ensure timely uploading of updates on the portal.
The District Magistrate also stressed that if officials resolve a complaint, they must contact the complainant by phone to confirm whether they are satisfied with the resolution.

The meeting was attended by Chief Development Officer Devyani, Additional District Magistrate (Administration) Purnima Singh, Additional Municipal Commissioner Shashi Bhushan, and other senior officials.
