Republican Party of India Strengthens Organization for Panchayat Elections, Appoints 133 New Officials

Lucknow: The Republican Party of India (Aathavale) is preparing to enter the electoral arena for the upcoming Panchayat elections in Uttar Pradesh. To strengthen its position, the party has been fortifying its organization at both the state and district levels. In the new year, the RPI has appointed 133 new officials to various positions across the state and districts.

Pawan Bhai Gupta, the state president of RPI, stated that the party is preparing to showcase its strength in the upcoming district panchayat elections. He emphasized that inactive officials at both the state and district levels are being replaced with new appointees. The criteria for these appointments are dedication to the constitution, a passion for working on the ground for the welfare of the poor, oppressed, and marginalized, and a commitment to social justice. He further added that RPI is a political party based on the vision of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia, which works toward social unity and strengthening the core values of social justice.

Gupta expressed that social justice cannot be achieved through caste-based division but through positive politics. He criticized the Samajwadi Party for fueling caste divisions, which, he believes, will only increase social inequality. RPI, on the other hand, remains committed to positive politics.

The new appointments across the state include 32 district presidents, 6 metropolitan presidents, officials for 7 different state-level cells, 11 divisional in-charges, 21 district youth wing presidents, 1 president for the medical wing, 5 district presidents for the OBC cell, 14 district presidents for the minority cell, 11 district presidents for the farmers’ cell, 12 district presidents for the women’s wing, 1 metropolitan president for the women’s wing, and 12 district presidents for the legal cell.

Gupta also mentioned that RPI plans to field candidates in over 3,000 district panchayat seats across Uttar Pradesh. He assured that the party is working on the ground and selecting candidates through a strategic process. RPI aims to make a strong showing in the district panchayat elections and play a significant role in the future of Uttar Pradesh’s politics.
