Currently seen portraying the character of Divya in Sun Neo’s television show ‘Divya Prem: Pyaar Aur Rahasya Ki Kahani’, Megha believes that reading is not just a pastime but a powerful habit that helps her grow both as a person and as an actor.
Sharing her love for books, Megha said that reading plays a significant role in enhancing her acting skills. She explained that she has always enjoyed reading and often feels deeply connected to certain stories. According to her, regular reading naturally helps in visualising scenes and understanding characters better. “When you read every day, scenes and characters automatically start forming in your mind. That is why, when I read a script, I immediately understand how a scene will unfold and how my character should be portrayed,” she said. She added that since ‘Divya Prem: Pyaar Aur Rahasya Ki Kahani’ is a highly visual show, her reading habit helps her perform scenes with greater clarity and emotional depth.
Megha also expressed concern about children spending excessive time on mobile phones and gadgets. She urged parents to encourage reading habits at an early age by introducing children to interesting and enjoyable books. She suggested that if children initially show less interest, parents should start by reading aloud to them. Gradually, children become curious about the story and develop a natural inclination towards reading. Megha believes that once the habit of reading is formed, it becomes an integral part of life and is difficult to let go.
Talking about the storyline of the show, Megha shared that her character Divya possesses special powers. As the story progresses, Divya begins to understand her strength, destiny, and responsibilities. The show is not just about fighting evil forces but also highlights the importance of love, trust, and choosing the right path.
