This marks his return to the No. 1 ODI bowler ranking, a spot he previously held in November 2024.
Afghanistan’s Batsmen and All-Rounders Shine

He is now just 20 points behind Shubman Gill, who leads the list, and eight points ahead of Rohit Sharma in third place. Meanwhile, Afghan all-rounder Azmatullah Omarzai also regained the top spot in the all-rounder rankings, taking seven wickets and scoring 60 runs over three matches. Omarzai had previously held the No. 1 all-rounder ranking from February to August this year.
