Rampur Police Launch Road Safety Awareness Drive

Rampur: As part of Road Safety Life-Saving Traffic Month in November 2025, Rampur Police conducted a special campaign to raise awareness about traffic rules and promote road safety.

Under the guidance of the Superintendent of Police, Deputy Superintendent of Police, and the Traffic Officer, school buses were thoroughly inspected. Officers checked for essential safety measures such as reflectors, first aid kits, and strict adherence to traffic regulations. Drivers violating rules, including those riding without helmets or failing to wear seat belts, were fined as part of the enforcement drive.

In addition to vehicle inspections, the police visited several schools across the city and towns to educate students and teachers about traffic safety. The initiative encouraged children and educators to not only follow rules themselves but also promote safe driving practices within their families and communities.

“This campaign aims to increase awareness about road safety in Rampur and help reduce accidents,” the police stated. Citizens were urged to comply with traffic regulations and take personal responsibility for ensuring safe roads for everyone.
