New Delhi – The prestigious Ramnath Goenka Excellence in Journalism Awards 2026, instituted by the Ramnath Goenka Foundation, have been announced, recognizing outstanding contributions across print, digital, and broadcast platforms nationwide. This year, a total of 25 exceptional works were honored across 18 categories.
In the 20th edition of the awards, Vice President of India, C. P. Radhakrishnan, highlighted the vital role of journalism in strengthening democracy while addressing the gathering. During the ceremony, 24 journalists across 19 categories were felicitated for their exemplary work.
Paying tribute to Ramnath Goenka, the Vice President said, “His journalism was a symbol of courage, independence, and unwavering commitment to truth.”

The jury panel for this year included eminent personalities B. N. Srikrishna, C. Raj Kumar, K. G. Suresh, Rohini Nilekani, and S. Y. Quraishi.
