Lucknow: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh visited the residence of former Lucknow Mahanagar General Secretary Ram Avtar Kannaujia in Thakurganj to express his condolences following the demise of his wife, former Daulatganj ward councillor Late Rani Kannaujia.
During the visit, Rajnath Singh paid floral tribute to the portrait of the departed soul and met the bereaved family members, conveying his heartfelt sympathies. He also prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul.
Several prominent leaders were present on the occasion, including Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, Mahanagar President Anand Dwivedi, Mayor Sushma Kharkwal, MLA Neeraj Bora, MLC Mukesh Sharma, Ram Chandra Pradhan, MP representative Divakar Tripathi, General Secretary Ghanshyam Das Agrawal, and Media In-charge Anurag Sahu, among others.
